Granol was founded in 1964 by Germano Guido Baldi, José Gomes Cadette, and João Serdan D’Alarico, initially as a commodities trading company. The company began its industrial activities in 1972 with the purchase of a peanut and soybean processing plant and expanded its operations over the decades, acquiring other industrial units. Today, with 60 years of existence, Granol is one of the main agribusiness complexes in Brazil, with various processing, storage, and refining units for grains and oils, serving thousands of suppliers and customers.
Social programs
Granol cares for 30 children aged three to five at the Social Space unit in Osvaldo Cruz/SP, which has a team made up of educational pedagogues, nutrition professionals, as well as kitchen and general services teams. Highly admired and recognized, the daycare not only welcomes children of Granol employees but also children from families in the region who cannot afford to place their children in private daycare.
The main objective of these professionals is to care for and educate, ensuring the physical, emotional, affectionate, cognitive, and social integrity of the children. The great differentiator is the individual attention given to each child, considering their needs and experiences.
